"Well done, is better than well said!"
~Ben Franklin
~Ben Franklin
Remember this quote as we all keep our eating in mind for the holidays upon us. Remember how the plan that we set out to follow, and follow it, that way it can be well done!
I've done what I would call great the last two days. With all the packing of cookie plates last night, I only nibbled two times. One was some small crumbs out of the bottom of a sugar cookie bag, and another time was on some crumbs of the peppermint fudge. I could've easily eaten all the crumbs of the fudge, but I quickly wrapped it up and tossed it in the garbage...safer there. Then today, I've nibbled only twice, once I had a piece of sugar cookie about the size of the tip of my finger, and the other time I had ONE honey roasted peanut. YUM. But that was it. I brought a good and filling lunch (avoiding the three types of meatballs!), and I bought two sensible snacks (an apple and pear), and I bought lots of gum with me. And when I got the urge to nibble I put gum in my mouth (I don't even care about the points associated with the gum, which I'm sure was like less than 1, but it had to be lower than 18 cookies, lol). So I will count today as a major success, and my biggest temptation!
This weekend should be pretty low key, tonight I'm hitting the gym, giving the dog a bath and hanging out a home. Some point I have to make the coffee cakes, probably hit the gym another time. Some last minute gift stuff, you know, the fun stuff. Weigh In on Sunday.
I'll try to post, but if I don't I hope everyone has the best Christmas Ever! Happy Holidays, and remember, Christmas comes every year, so no need to eat like this is your last one :)

I really like your quote today! Infact most days I do! :) But I reckon that is a big key to weightloss. I remember when I was a ww leader people used to come to me and complain that they weren't losing weight. I'd tell them to go home write everything down that they ate and bring it back to me ... and they never did!! Hmmm wonder why they weren't losing!!
Have a great Christmas matey!!!
Thank you so much for your wonderful blog. I love reading it. Have a Merry Christmas !!
