For some reason the scale has been heading back up the last couple days, and I'm totally discouraged about it, since I've been totally OP. I just keep fighting the same 5lbs over and over and it's getting so frustrating. Once again at the point where I feel like quitting, but I'm not going too, I've worked to hard. But god I'm frustrated.

hang in there. do you attend meetings? perhaps a leader could look over your journal to see if there was something that could be tweaked?
the scales will catch up with your efforts...in the meantime....maybe try a different exercise - get a new video or do something you normally don't???? or just get on here and rant like a fool when you feel like saying f*ck it!! that at least will keep you away from the fridge!
Just keep it up. Eventually you will get past it. (I've been there with almost every 5 pounds on my journey.)
I'm sorry to hear that you've been stuck Kate! I agree with Fatinah - try to shake things up a bit. Change what you have been eating, and/or get your activity in a new way. I think our bodies get used to our routines at a certain point and try to cling to a weight.
Whatever you do, don't give up. You can do this!! Now go drink a big thing of water!!!!
That's exactly how I felt last week. Totally discouraged, but remember today is a new day. You're doing great! Just keep it up & I'm sure the weight will come off very soon.
i'm glad you're not giving-up... sometimes, are bodies are on a different path than our brains and take time to catch-up... i would suggest, like the others, changing your exercise or what you're eating... sometimes the small things make the biggest difference... :o)
I know exactly what you mean! I got to a point where I just couldn't lose any more weight. Have you thought about trying Core? I had to completely change my diet plan in order to get away from 160. It felt like I was there forever and I know how discouraging it can be. Especially when you are doing so great and staying OP. It just doesn't make sense sometimes.
Try not to get too frustrated...we've all been there. Try mixing up your diet some if you can. :)
I feel your frustration and the whole weight body memory thing. I am really thinking that whatever weight I am at the end of August will be my goal and I will be satisfied with that. Maybe you need to just focus on what you can (staying OP, exercising and drinking your water) and let your body do it's thing?
I can relate to everything you've said because I was there not so long ago.
I encourage you to not give up your body is just adjusting to the weight loss you've had so far.
The pounds will start coming off again as long as you stay OP and get some exercise. I know because it worked for me.
