Well the weekend went very well. I had the house primarily to myself again this weekend (I just love that!). Friday night the roommate and I went to Mongolian BBQ for dinner, and had yummy stir fry. Then came home and just relaxed on the couch.
Saturday morning I got up and a headed out to get some hiking in with the dog. We managed to cover about 6.5 miles in about 1 hour and 50 minutes. It was a good workout, and the weather was great. I think next time I get a chance to go hiking I am going to try to do about 10 miles. When I got home from hiking I dropped the dog off, had some lunch and then headed out to stock up on my fruit for the week. Got home from that and spent the rest of the day baking zucchini bread, the real kinda, and then my "diet" version. The diet version didn't rise quite like the others did, but it still turned out really good, and only 2 points per slice.
Sunday I got up and was pretty much a lazy ass, haha. I finished baking zucchini bread, got laundry done, burned some CD's for one of my brothers, and finally around 5 decided to get out of my PJ's and go Rollerblading, which I did for about 45 minutes. After that made dinner, showered, puttered around some more and went to bed. As I said, a pretty lazy Sunday.
Overall eating wise the weekend went well. Stayed on program, didn't eat any flexies, but did eat some of the activity points. This weekend I'm heading north again, so I'm going to need to plan and pack accordingly.
The scale is heading back down, so that's encouraging.
Other than that, not much new here in Michigan. I hope everyone is having a healthy and happy day!
This is my account of my life, one day at a time. Running, Weight Loss, Marriage, you name it, it gets talked about.

A Rainy Day in Michigan
Alright, I promised a real post, and since I know your all just chomping at the bit for a real post (who am I kidding? Only myself, ha ha).
I've seriously been so crazy busy lately, at work, at home, everything, I feel like I never sit down, which is a good thing. If I'm not sitting, I'm not eating, haha.
On Friday Night, I went and picked strawberries after work, and I managed to pick about another 16lbs. Then I came home, ate, cleaned all the berries, took Duke on a walk (about an hour) and then came home, showered and hit the sack.
Saturday I got up early and went rollerblading, and then came home and got stuff ready to do more Jam with my berries. Then I helped a guy from work load up a truck full of patio stones that I had I wanted to get rid of, and then I made Jam. After the Jam I went over to my parents and worked in my garden for a couple hours. I think I overheated myself doing that, so when I got home, I just laid on the couch for a bit to cool down. After that, dinner, went to check out some flowers at the local greenhouse and get a slurpee, and home and to bed :)
Sunday, I got up early again, took the dog on a long walk (70 minutes) and then went to pick more berries (just enough to eat for the week), ran to get flowers, get my truck washed, to the grocery store and back home. Then over to my parents to get the flowers planted for my dad for fathers day and to water my garden. Then back home to do laundry and that kind of stuff. Later on dinner with dad and the family for fathers day and some relaxing :)
Last night was an off night for my activity, so I got home and made some dinner, and I just did some much needed yardwork. Darn weeds were overtaking my landscaping.
I did manage to get some new Rollerblades last night. I got the Rollerblade Marathon Carbon W's. They are absolutely awesome, I tried them on last night, but I don't know if I can justify the money I spent on them. I seriously haven't had a new pair of skates in 12 years, and I use them a ton, so I know I deserve them, but I have a hard time justifying the money. So they are sitting on the table, and I'm trying to decide whether I am going to keep them or not. I really want to skate an inline Marathon, and these would make that totally possible.
Other than that, nothing really new. I'm hoping for a good loss this week, but I'm still feeling rather bloated from TOM, so I don't know. I'm getting down about not losing weight. If I don't lose in the next couple weeks, I might try the Wendi Plan to try to "bust the plateau". We'll see. But I've had a great eating week, and my activity has been on par with what I planned, so I'm hoping.
I hope everyone is doing great, and having a fabulous day. Thanks so much for all your kinda, and encouraging comments :)

What is so Special about Tuesdays?
The answer to that question is, there is nothing special about Tuesday's at all. It's kinda like the middle child that is ignored. Poor Tuesdays, they are just the day after Monday, and before "hump day".
It's going to be a gorgeous Tuesday around here, its suppose to be like 82 and sunny, that's awesome! I just wish I wasn't stuck at work!
I've been working alot of my garden trying to get it into shape for the season. My garden is over at my parents house (roughly about 6 miles from my house) and I managed to get over there last night. I ran the tiller through it three times, and it's finally getting worked up pretty good. But boy was I tired from doing it. My garden is huge. Most people start with a small little garden, and "try it out", not me, I have a garden that is probably 35-40 feet long, by 10-15 feet wide. It's huge. I have peppers, onions, tomatoes, cucumbers and strawberries, I think that is it. And I have A LOT of peppers, because with being on Weight Watchers, I eat a lot of darn peppers, so I figured I would grow them, and then chop them up and freeze them. It will be a lot cheaper than buying them all winter long at the grocery store. Colored Peppers are so EXPENSIVE! I don't know how much anything is actually going to yield, being it's my first season, I'm not expecting much, but it will be an adventure.
I love gardening though, it's been getting me activity points, and getting my off my arse, so that's a good thing. The more I'm not sitting in the house thinking about food, the more I'm not eating, so yay for gardening!
Still keeping my fingers crossed for a good loss this week, it's gonna be hard to stay on track if I don't at least see a small loss. I looked the other day, and I am the same weight now as I was a month ago, how disappointing.
Things with Scott are continuing to go well. I talked to him last night and he wanted me to come help him and his family bale hay tonight after work. I think I'm going to pass. I know with my allergies I would probably be miserable after a night of doing that (although it would be great activity points i'm sure!). Plus, I've never baled hay before, I'm sure his parents would just laugh at me, and I'd probably end up getting eaten by some machine, lol. That's one thing I really love about Scott (besides the fact that he's way hot, and got the most gorgeous blue eyes), he's busy. He's very busy. Before I would always have a guy waiting on me, cause I was busy, but Scott is always busy too, so I never feel bad.
Anyone have any big plans for the holiday weekend?
Alright everyone, have a Happy and Healthy Tuesday!

Menu 5/2/07
Well I did well. I got out and walked for 55 minutes when I got home. It was nice, plus activity points to boot. I didn't eat but a .5 of an activity point though. I hate it when I just end up with a .5 point left, what the heck is a half point that I feel like eating lol. So I had a WW Carrot Cake. Love them! And worth that extra .5 point.
Here's the menu. I was done eating by 9, and I only had 4 points after dinner left, go me!
