Well this will probably be a pretty quick update, as I seem to actually be busy, what a novel idea!
Date #2 did not go as well as date number 1 for a variety of reasons. But the first and foremost being I seem to be the one doing all the talking (and really, I'm anti-social, so this poses a problem), then he doesn't seem to ask many questions about me, which gets kinda boring trying to come up with stuff to ask him. Also, he seems to be telling me the same things over and over again, so it makes me wonder if he can't remember what girl he told them to, and which one he didn't. So it leaves me at whether or not to go out with him again, which I'm leaning towards no, but I haven't decided yet.
As far as Weight Watchers is going, I'm doing well. I haven't been feeling up to par, but I've still been eating my points. I'm excited to weigh in on Monday and possibly see a loss (although TOM will be making his appearance, and we know how well that goes over!).
I had Pan Fried Fish Last night for dinner, and it was ok, but nothing spectacular. Tonight I am having pasta filled (stuffed) peppers. It's a new recipe, and if it goes well, I'll post it.
Other than that, nothing to new and exciting, just waiting for fall to actually arrive around here, it's been so mild for october!
Anyways, hope you all are having a healthy and happy day!
This is my account of my life, one day at a time. Running, Weight Loss, Marriage, you name it, it gets talked about.

An Awesome Weekend.
You know, it's not very often that I say I had an awesome weekend. But I did. It was great. Let me tell you a little about it, but first, my weigh in this morning was down .2 pounds
All in all, the bad of the weekend included me over eating on Saturday. I honestly don't know what came over me. I was making peanut butter cookies, and I did great, I only had one, and then I counted it and everything, and then I went into bottomless pit mode and ate everything in site. I knew I wasn't doing good, and at that point I threw in the towel. Although I did top it off with a healthy dinner. Once I got home from dinner with the family, It hit me like a ton of brick. A cold that is. I started feeling the chills, I got a headache, I plugged up, the throat hurt, I just felt miserable.
Sunday was pretty much, more of the same. I felt like crap, and spent more of the day on the couch watching tv and drinking green tea. I did stay on plan though, and ate within my points, so that was a good thing.
Why was this an awesome weekend you ask? It sure doesn't sound like one right? Bad Eating, being sick. But it was Friday that just made my weekend great.
I met a great guy on Friday night. We went out for drinks, and it went great, and better yet, he didn't even wait for 12 hours to ask me out again! We're going out again tonight, and even with not feeling so great, I have a smile from ear to ear. Pending everything goes good, I will let you guys in on some details very soon. But that's what made my weekend so awesome!
I hope everyone is having a great, healthy and happy day!

Thank God it's Thursday!
The last couple days at work have been so incredibly busy, I haven't had the chance to update nearly as much as I like. I guess I should probably get in the habit of sitting down at night (and not on company time!) to update, but naw, that's no fun!
As far as Weight Watchers goes, things have been going good. For some reason I've been getting a little down about it though, and a little discouraged. I haven't jumped Off Plan, or anything like that, I guess I'm just getting "bored" with it. I'm running out of new foods to buy and try, recipes (finally, after 5 months) are getting to be the same old thing. I guess maybe it just roots from the fact that I'm pretty happy where I'm at weight-wise. My clothes feel good again, and I'm not too skinny, but I feel healthy and happy. But, at the same time, at the beginning of my weight loss journey I set a goal, and I want to reach that. So I don't know, I guess just feeling kinda frustrated. I'm sure it will pass. Anyone else get like this ever?
Things with Scott are going well still. I am beginning to remember some of the stuff that I didn't like in the fall when we dated, but it's hard. He's such as sweet guy, so thoughtful and so hardworking. Which is like the opposite of my ex. One thing I did like about Scott, even when we dated before, he was busy. He's a busy guy, and he's always doing something, and he has to make time for me, which is nice. I don't like a guy who is sitting around waiting for me to call, because I like my own time, and to do my own thing. But on the bad side, one, he likes to party. Not like go to the bar party, but have beers with his buddies alot. Myself, I'm not a partier, not in the least bit. I really prefer a night in watching tv to a night or going out. I like cross stitching and watching movies....Boring I know. And the only other gripe I have, is relationship wise you can just tell he hasn't had alot of girlfriends. He's younger than me (he is 23, I'm 25) and you can just tell he hasn't. He's kind of immature when it comes to the relationship aspect, which is different for me, since Jason was 29, and I dated him for 2.5 years. Ugh, maybe I'm just in a funk in general, seems all I've done is complain! Sorry about that.
This weekend I intend to get my garden planted, and hopefully work on my landscaping a little more. It should be fun! I can't wait to get my vegetables planted, and start watching them grow. I've never grown veggies before, but being on WW's I eat so many now, I thought I would give it a heck of a try. I want to chop all the peppers and onions I get so that I can use them throughout the winter, cheaper, and fresher veggies...year round!
As far as the Woman Challenge goes, I'm only doing the individual one (I'm not on a team). I've been slacking this week (the cooler weather and being busy, excuses, excuses). Luckily it started on Mother's Day, and all day I was helping my mom plant flowers and everything, so I could count that as "activity", and I did, and it actually met my activity goal for the week (of 30 minutes per day, 210 minutes for the week). I'm going to try to get a walk in tonight, and I'm going to try to get a walk in on Friday night also.
Alright, have a healthy and happy day bloggers. Update again soon!

A Busy Weekend!
Sorry I didn't post at all this weekend, it was so incredibly busy! Which is great.
Friday night, Scott came over and we watched a movie til late. Nothing spectacular, but it was fun, and he's such a "farm boy" he's not seen like any movies, so anything I pick is new to him. He seems to enjoy the funny ones, so we watched Old School and he thought it was pretty good.
Saturday morning I got up and weighed in. Not good. I was expected a gain this week for two reasons, one, I showed such a loss last weekend, and I always gain after a big loss. And two, I was not OP last weekend, so I was expecting a bit of a gain from that. Well, I gained 3.6 pounds. Now, I know I couldn't have possible eaten enough to gain all that, so I'm just not going to sweat it, and pray for a good loss next week. I'm feeling good, and that's all that matters! It did put me back over the 150 mark, which would technically raise my points up for 21 back to 22. But I think I am just going to leave them at 21.
Saturday during the day I worked outside around the house, and did some running around, I don't think I sat down all day. And Saturday Night I went to a bonfire that Scott had out at his place, which was fun.
Sunday, I got up early (after being out late, ugh!) and went to church with my parents. Then I came home, planted a tree, and then went over to my parents. Helped my dad cook chicken for lunch, and then helped my mom plant the perennials my brothers and I got her for Mother's Day. Also helped her transplant a few other ones, and I actually took some of the lily we transplanted home with me. I also took a section of trumpet vine that I am going to see if I can get going at my house. So then I went home, and planted everything that I got from her. And my neighbor brought over a few baby hostas for me too, so I planted those. Needless to say, I don't think I even came in the house til after 730 or 8, and didn't even sit down til after that, I'm whooped. Had to come back to work to rest ;)
As far as WW's goes, I had a good weekend. Yesterday for lunch I actually marinated about 13 pounds of chicken for my family, and helped my dad cook it all. And they loved it! They've never had real good marinated chicken, and it was healthy for me, so that was great. I did eat alot of pineapple, and I only counted a point for it. You know why? One, I didn't count any activity points for yesterday, even though I was on my feet all day, digging, planting, etc. Also, it was totally the best choice I could've made. My parents house is full of bad food chips, nuts, cakes, cookies, I made the best choice possible, so I won't penalize myself for that. No one got fat eating fruits and veggies right?
Other than that, it looks to be another busy busy week, and I'm pushing for a great weigh in this week! The WOMAN Challenge started yesterday, but I just didn't get out for a walk, I'm going to tonight though!
Alright have a healthy and happy day everyone! I'm going to try to post some new recipes later in the week!

Happy Thursday!
Sorry it's been a couple days since I updated. I've been fighting a miserable bout with allergies, and I've had a terrible sinus headache since Sunday, needless to say, at least I'm feeling at least a little better today, I ran the AC last night (much to my disgust!) and I think it helped, so I plan to do the same thing tonight.
As far as the weight loss goes, I think everything is going good. I'm not overly looking forward to Weigh In on Saturday, since I know I didn't eat good this weekend, but at least I'm expecting it, and I can trace it back to what I did wrong. It shouldn't put me above 150 again though, which is good. But I've been on track all week, and besides allergy problems, I'm feeling good.
I'm planning on planting all my vegetables this weekend. I've never gardened before this year, but I'm giving it a heck of a shot. I want to freeze my own peppers and onions for use in recipes throughout the winter, that way I have farm-fresh produce in the winter, instead of overpaying for the crap I get at Kroger. It ticked me off enough this winter to pay $4.99 for a red pepper that I decided I would grow mine own, haha. Once I get everything planted I will have to post some pictures. For a first time gardener, I have a hell of a garden planned.
On the dating front, things with Scott seem to be going well, and I've kinda let the other guys fall at the wayside. I'd like to give Scott a full-fledged shot this time, since I didn't last time, I don't want anything distracting me. We watched a movie last night, and that's very different for him. He's a farm boy, most of the time we hang out, it's him working on something outside and me either helping him, or just sitting there chatting. He's not the "sit and watch tv" type. But it was pouring here last night, so he didn't have a choice. He didn't even know how to work the DVD player, it was really cute. He's so simple. So simply not like my ex either, which is good thing. I'll keep you married ones updated, we're suppose to go out this weekend.
Other than that, nothing really new to report. I posted a new picture in my profile, it's of me this past weekend. I don't typically take good pictures, but for once I thought it was good. I need to find a few comparison photos, so I can see if you guys can tell the difference between 170lbs Kate and 147lb Kate, sometimes I can't!
Alright have a great Thursday!

A tired Tuesday
Well just wanted to give an update. Thanks to all of you who wished me a safe drive, it's always appreciated. I did in fact have a safe drive, long but safe nonetheless. It was about 2.5 hours each way, I managed to get home about 1030 or 11 last night, and I'm whooped this morning. But it was worth it because my girlfriend was happy to see me, and appreciated it, and really that is all that matters.
I had a NSV of sorts. Even though I was on the road (in an unexpected trip even!), I managed to stay completely on plan. I packed snacks and dinner before I left the house yesterday evening, and ate dinner in the car before I went into the funeral home. So my first tracked day on 21 points went great. I think the key to being great on WW's is planning. Plan, Plan, Plan. As long as your plan your meals, you can stay within a points range, even being on the road ;)
I also talked to the ex last night for about 45 minutes, which really is a lot for me, I'm not a phone person at all ( I like to think it's because I'm on the phone all day and sick of it when I get off work). The conversation went well. Let me tell you a little about this guy, and our history.
My long term ex (Jason) and I broke up in July of last year, because he "needed time" (aka, time to go date this bitch girl that was trying to break us up). Well around Labor Day, my one good girlfriend asked me if I would be interested in going out with Scott, whose family I had known for years, and I knew of him. I said sure why not, it was time to get into the dating scene again. So we went out, and we had a great time and started seeing eachother. He was a very simple guy, something I'm not used too. He lives on a farm with his family, they still butcher thier own meat, etc, you get the idea. Our first date we went to Applebee's, and he'd never been there, I was just baffled, haha. Well he was so polite, and so hard working, and so simple (opposite of my ex in every way). I can go on and on about how good of a guy he was, but I'll spare ya.
Well in early September, Jason came crawling back (as I knew he would) but I rejected the plea to get back with him, because I was seeing Scott. Well Jason never gave up, and we would talk through Instant Messenger and Text, but I still didn't give into him wanting to get back together. Then Scott and I took a trip up north in the fall to see the colors and ride four wheelers. The trip was a disaster, and I had a miserable time. And when I got back, Jason was trying to get back into my life still, my grandfather passed away, and just in general it was a bad time. Needless to say I pushed Scott off to the side, and let Jason back into my life.
Well Jason and I did this he wanted to get back together, and I didn't thing for like 6 months, and finally I said It was over for good, and we haven't really spoken since.
So, lately, I had been feeling like I didn't give Scott a fair chance, one bad weekend and I checked out. It was cause Jason was yanking at me to get back together, and my grandfather passed away, and a variety of other things. I felt bad because I really just stopped talking to him, and never gave him a reason. Well then he called, and we hung out, and we've been talking. So regardless, I don't know if he's interested, or just interested in being friends, but regardless, I feel lucky to have the second chance to have him in my life.
Alright did I write a book, or did I write a book?
Another gorgeous day here, I need to get fertilizer on my lawn tonight because it's suppose to rain tonight and tomorrow. So that's the goal for tonight!
Alright, have a happy and healthy day bloggers!

A Case of the Mondays
Good Morning Everyone!
This weekend was fantastic. It was gorgeous once again, and I got a lot accomplished, seen friends, just in general had a great weekend. Plus I had a good weigh in to boot, so that helped start things off in the right direction. But Saturday and Sunday I did not track points. I think I definitely could've eaten worse than I did, but it wasn't a good weekend weight watchers wise. I wouldn't be surprised if I see a gain this week, but at least I'm prepared for it, and when it's there, I know the reason.
It's amazing when I'm Off Weight Watchers for a weekend, or a day, or whatever, how my body craves good food and water again by the end of the day. Last Night, as I was cutting up the vegetables for my lunch, my body was just screaming for water and veggies. It's amazing to me, how used to good eating my body as gotten, which is great. But it truthfully just makes me realize how bad I was eating before, and what it was doing to my body. It's alright to do it once in awhile (this weekend won't kill me) but wow, I just don't want to let my body get used to eating like that again. I feel like crap today, and I know it's cause I ate crap over the weekend.
On another note. I used to have such problems with indigestion pre-WW's, and I always blamed it on the the fact that it was inherited (my grandmother gets it terrible!). Well since I've been on WW's I have not had one problem with indigestion, it's amazing what eating right, and eating correct portions can do for you. But one day back to eating not even as bad as I used to, it reared it's ugly head again, I don't miss it, not at all.
I had the date this weekend, and it went ok, I don't think the guy is really my type, and I don't think I will go out with him again. The date lasted about an hour, and we grabbed lunch. He really wasn't my type, and then on top of that, I felt like I was grasping for things to talk about. So needless to say, he's nice enough, I just don't think it's going to work out.
On a high note (I don't remember if I mentioned this or not), An ex of mine from about 8 months ago called out of the blue, and I went over to hang out with him yesterday. He really is such a great guy....and totally hot (and doesn't even know it! The best kind!). He's very sweet. I don't know if I will be lucky enough to get a second chance at something I blindly threw away, but I'll keep you guys posted.
I have about a 6 hour drive tonight, and it's gonna suck. One of my best friends in the world grandfather passed away over the weekend, and his viewing is tonight, in a city about 3 hours away. So I'm driving there to go the viewing, and then driving back. I can't physically take the whole day off work tomorrow for the funeral, so this is the only way to go about it. Plus, I'm pretty sure my ex is going to be at the funeral (she was his friend, and her and I got close during the 2.5 year we were together). So it's better this way. Just going to have to pack lots of snack, since my eating schedule will be all off. I'm a very scheduled person, I like routine, lol.
Alright well have a healthy and happy day everyone!

A Quality Post
It's finally getting gorgeous around here. Nothing like Spring in Michigan. I love the change of the seasons in Michigan, I don't know that I could ever live somewhere where I didn't have them, I think I would get bored. I guess it's the reason I have so many hobbies, have to have one for everyone season, if not two three or four!
On the Weight Loss front, everything seems to get going good. I've been staying within my points, and I've been getting in some AP's too, which is sure to help. I want to come up with a light weight lifting/Ab's routine, maybe I will get a chance to plan that today at work. I didn't see a loss last week on the scale, but I'm pretty sure (keeping fingers crossed) I will see a decent one this week. My pants are definitely getting huge, so even if I'm not losing pounds, I'm losing inches, and I'm feeling better to boot, so I guess that all that matters right?
This weekend will be a hard weekend for WW's though, I'm just going to try to do my best. I have a wedding, and a date, and a friend in town, so I'm going to be crazy busy. I'm not going to even try to track my points, I'm just going to do the best I can, and get back on program on Monday. I think Weight Watchers had taught me great portion control, and I know that anything isn't bad in moderation, so we will see how that will work out this weekend.
On the dating front, I have a date on Saturday with Nic. I'm looking forward to it. On another note, a ex randomly called me last night. The funny things was I had been thinking about him lately, and my roommate and I actually talked about him last night. Scott was a great guy, who was a little rough around the edges. And when I say rough around the edges, I mean his idea of taking me to a nice dinner when we went up north for the weekend was going to the gas station for sandwiches. I am one of the most low-maintenance women you will ever meet, but this guy was pushing it, haha. Well needless to say, at the same time, my long term ex (we were together for 2.5years) was trying to push his way back into my life, and my grandpa had just died, so needless to say I don't think I gave the guy a fair shot. I don't honestly know what he wanted, but we chatted about 15-20 minutes, and then left it at that. So we'll see if it was just a check in call or more. Just confused. Have I mentioned how much I hate dating?
Tonight I have my little (I'm involved in the Big Brothers Big Sister's program) and I think I am going to take him out to dinner like I normally do, and then take him to get something for his mom for mother's day. I thought it would be nice to take him and have him pick out a card and maybe a candle or something small that she might like. I'm sure that she never gets any thanks for being a mom, it is a thankless job.
Anyways, that's it for today, I hope everyone has a healthy and happy day! Happy Blogging!

And a New Week Begins!
I have yet to decide what my new activity for this week is going to be, but I better start thinking! A guy I was out with on Saturday, "R", said he'd teach me to play disc golf, and I think it would be fun. I don't necessarily know that I would like him to teach me though. perhaps I can get one of my brothers to go look like an idiot with me, being they don't know how to play either! It will be so gorgeous out I know I won't want to go to any fitness classes, I can just go out walking.
Speaking of which, I think tonight when I get home I'm going to take Duke (my 4 year old golden retriever) out for a nice long walk. It's 70 and there isn't a cloud in the sky. Plus being out of the house like that, keeps me out of the food, lol. We are having tuna salad sandwiches for dinner tonight, and should be good, and low in points.
Alright promised an update on the dating situation. I haven't had anymore crazies who've yelled at me for telling them I'm not interested, which is always good. You know they saying "When It Rains it Pours?" My love life is kinda like that. I will go months without anyone interested, or a date, and then I'll have like 4 guys at once interested. Then I have to pick cause I'm totally incapable of juggling 4 men, and then the one I pick dumps me, and then I'm back to square one, it's fun, really it is. Can you tell how much I love dating?
So right now I have three potential prospects, who have no advanced to talking on the phone. I might as well just use names, because there are starting to be initial overlaps, and well that will just get confusing. Currently, I have three left. I went out with another one this weekend, Rick, and he was a nice guy, just not my type, so I don't foresee it going anywhere.
So the ones left are Nic, Chad and Ryan. All great guys. Chad already asked me out for next weekend, although I'm not sure which day we're going to go out. But he's 34, and from a small city about 35-40 minutes away. He has a good job, education, family, ect. Just seems like a good all-around guy, he wasn't very good on the phone though, kinda boring. I honestly didn't think he was that interested, so I was surprised when he asked me out.
Then there is Nic. Nic is 26 and also seems like a great guy, he's from another small town about 30-40 minutes away. Has a great job, what seems to be a big, close knit family. Loves the outdoorsy stuff like I do. Just seems like he'd be the type of guy who is always up for challenge. I like those types. Plus, I'm a challenge, so it's nice to have someone who can put up with that ;) He hasn't asked me out yet, but I can see it coming soon.
Lastly, right now there is Ryan. He's definitely not the last on the list or anything. He's 32 and He's from Ohio, a town about 45 minutes south of me. He also seems like a great guy with a good family, good education, hard working, has a good job, and a company he runs on the side during the summer. This one really impressed me. We talked on the phone for like 40 minutes last night, and I'm not a phone person. We actually got into some political discussions (an interesting thing to chat about the first time you talk nonetheless). He seemed like a great guy. No date yet with this one.
So, I've got my plate full. Three great guys! I just hope one out of the three is as good of a package in person as they seem through email/phone conversations. Because anyone who has dated online knows this isn't always the case!
Other than that, I have no excitement in my life. I'm predicting a rather lazy night after my walk. I will post a menu, but until then, take care!

A Rainy Thursday..
Well this post is going to be shorter today, this I promise. No applause necessary.
No more crazys on the personals today...luckily. Although I have met several nice "candidates" so to speak, and two of them have my phone number, we shall see who calls! We will call one "N" and the other "C". N and C both seem like great guys, N I think is a tad more my speed, he's outdoorsy, he's cute, has a good job, and is 26. C is also great, cute, close to his family, own downfall is he's 34. I don't know why that seems like such an age difference, it's under 10 years. If he asks, I'll definitely go out. I'm not turning down any dates, it's my new motto "at least give it a chance!".
It's been rainy, and kinda depressing here today, especially after all the nice weather the last couple days. But on a high note, its suppose to warm up, and be sunny on Sunday, so it gives me something to look forward too. Plus even with it raining Friday and Saturday, I have indoor stuff I have to get done...like cleaning. Yuck!
Eating wise, today has been good. I'm planning on Shrimp stir-fry for dinner. I always have Shrimp stir-fry when the roommate isn't home because she doesn't like shrimp, so I never can make it for both of us to enjoy. It's yummy, and very point friendly.
I also get to see my girlfriend D tonight. I'm excited because we haven't just gotten to hang out and catch up in quite sometime. So I'm going over to see her, and see her 3 year old daughter, I'm excited, and it gets me out of the house, which is even better because it keeps me from grazing in the kitchen and using points. I love the nights when have quite a few points left and can have a really yummy snack!
Anyways, menu later.
Until tomorrow, be healthy, be happy!

The Dating Saga Continues
So, I have another Yahoo Personals story, but we'll get to that in a minute.
First off, I finally found a home for the puppy that I have been fretting over for the past week. Turns out one of the guys who I thought would take him never got the initial message I left him, and just happened to stop by work today and went right over a got the poor thing. This guy and his wife are both older, retired people, and they bought a golden retriever puppy about a 18 months ago. Well the dog ended up having some very rare disease and passed away around Christmas Time. They had been looking for a new puppy, and this guy worked out perfect. So he has a great home. I almost cried when he said he would take him. I guess prayers work!
So Rosie O'Donnell is leaving the view. Now I really dislike Rosie, I never liked her period, but I really didn't like her after the view, and all the trump stuff (he's an ass too, don't worry), but she's just a loud mouth. I was wondering how long Barbra Walters was going to put up with her on The View, well apparently her tenure is done in June. I watched the video of Rosie announcing it on People.com, and you can see Barbra sitting next to her, and she just looks like she hates Rosie. It's really quite entertaining.
Onto the dating story of the day. I swear to god when I was in "the dating pool" three years ago, it wasn't nearly this hard, nor were their nearly as many smart asses. So today I open up my yahoo personals mail to see I several messages. I have a couple in which seem like nice guys and a couple that just aren't my type. You know, everyone has a type. So I nicely send the couple that aren't my type a "quick reply", basically a pre-fab message saying I just met someone and want to see what develops. Figure it's nicer than just being like hey not your not my type, sorry. Hey I've gotten it before, that's cool. Well this one guy sends me an email back, and this is what is says, we shall call him "T".
"So why are you still out here looking...? You are just blowing me off...too bad. Your type will never find the right person because you won't give a guy a chance. I guess it's my looks...not my personality or financial standing. Im sorry to of expressed an interest in you. Take care."
So, being the smart ass that I am, I of course replied:
T,
I can tell your a very bitter individual, And I apologize that you live your life that way.
Let me break this down for you.
Your Age: 39 The Age Range I want: 25-35
Your Body Type: Thick. Body Type I want: Slim, Slender, Fit, Athletic, Average.
Your Martial Status: Divorced. What I want: Single-Never Married
Kids: You don't Want. I want them.
So even had I not just met someone, we are clearly not a fit, so perhaps you should read the other person's wants also, because in the game of dating, what they want matters also.
Good Luck in your search, hopefully you'll find someone who is willing to deal with you.
Then I blocked him...
Seriously, some of these guys just don't get it. I mean I was just trying to be nice, saying I wasn't interested, what's honestly so wrong with not being interested in someone? I never get that offended when someone doesn't message me. Just figure oh well, I'm not their type.
Geesh..
Diet wise everything is going good. Looking forward to weigh in on Saturday, as I should hit the 140's, go me! I am going to post a recipe for Baked Parmesan Fish tonight, had it last night, and it was A+++ and very low point. Have to love fish. My new addictions of the week at dill pickles (why did I never realize these were 0 points!) and the Weight Watchers Carrot Cakes, yum!
Alright time to wrap up at work. Menu Tonight.

I'm in Healthy Range
So I was just sitting here, trying to avoid the obvious (work) and decided to re-visit what I wanted my ultimate goal to be for Weight Watchers. While researching this, I noticed something, I am back in the healthy weight range provided by Weight Watchers. Now, I may only be .6 pounds from being unhealthy again, but it feels great, glad I finally made it here, and I made it to my 10% too.
Now my next goal is the 140's, which I haven't been in probably since high school, hell, it might have been since like my Sophomore or Junior year of High School. But what the heck, I'll be happy when I hit 149.9....it means the 140's. I might be there this weekend.
The every dubious job of picking a goal weight is now upon me. When I set out on this journey I put it to 140, because that was dead in the middle of my weight range, and in high school, that's where I've always wanted to be. Now I am thinking I would like to hover between 135-140lbs. What do you guys think? How have you picked your goals?
On another note it's gorgeous around here today, again. I did sleep much last night because of the puppy incident . So while I would love to get out for a bike ride, I might just be too bushed to do it. I had intentions of taking a nice long ride tonight, like 8 miles or so. We'll see.
So, I'm single, and I'm back in the dating world, it's not easy, especially after being in a relationship for the last 2.5 years. I've two rather interesting experiences thus far. Let me tell you about them, I'm sure you will get a laugh.
First, I met this guy on Yahoo Personals a couple weeks ago, seemed nice enough. We'll call him "S". Well S and I wrote a few emails back and fourth. I found him on Myspace, and we emailed back and fourth a couple times, but nothing really came of it. Really I thought his emails were kinda boring, and while I asked him questions, and he answered the questions he never really asked me anything back, which led me to believe he wasn't interested. No big deal, we'd talked in maybe 5 or 6 emails. He sent one email a bit ago, a response to one of mine, that didn't really ask me anything to answer, so I just kinda blew it off. Well this morning, I get a email from him saying he deleted me from his friends because I never responded to his email and that was rude. And he wanted to let me know why he deleted me, rather than be like me and not offer him any reason for cutting off contact. Can we say hello, needy? after a few email, geesh.
Now this other one isn't quite a book, so stick with me here. Once again on yahoo personals, I log in, I'm all excited to see I have 1 new message, YES! Someone thinks I'm hot. No, actually quite the opposite. Some guy, whose name fails to escape me, decided to write me a note to tell me I looked like I was brushing my teeth in the picture I had up. Now mind you, one, I didn't ask for critiques of the picture but two, this guy doesn't even have a picture up! So I rather smart-ass-edly responded that I didn't ask for his opinion, nor was I afraid to put a picture up, and apparently he was.
Gotta love online dating, ahhh the joys.
Alright I've wrote a book, so time to get back to work. But tonight I will post a recipe for my dinner, which is going to be Baked Parmesan Orange Roughy. YUM!
Toodles,
Kate
YUM!
Toodles,
Kate
