Starting Over- Day #2

Well, Day #1 went not as well as planned, but it could have been a whole lot worse. But you know what, I have tickets like that, maybe never again in my life, so it was a once in a lifetime thing, so I enjoyed it, it's done, it's over.

Day #2 started out with great intentions, it didn't end the way I had hoped though. I started off the morning with a good breakfast, and had a snack and lunch and did good. I had a couple small boxes of nerds and one small piece of laffy taffy, it had hit my points kinda hard, but I counted it and moved on.

The high point of today, I didn't feel like running at all, and I knew that I would be heavy and slow on a run since I ate crap food last night, but regardless, I went out running. Didn't run long, but I got out, and that was a good thing.

When I got home, I had an "attack", I've had these before, and honestly, nothing makes me feel better except to eat. When I have these I all of a sudden feel week, clamy, cold and hot, light headed and just generally feel bad. Well needless to say I had one of these, and I had some stuff to eat, which put me over my points for the day.

So Day#3 is going to be my stellar awesome day I've decided. I have my lunch packed, my dinner planned, and I'm also going to run when I get home!

Until tomorrow, when I will post my menu, stay healthy and happy bloggers.

Day #1

Well here I am, Day #1 of being back on track. Has it been perfect? No! But has it been manageable, most definitely! I knew going into today that it would probably be a bad day to start back on Weight Watchers. Why you ask? Well I bought tickets awhile ago to the Tigers Game for this evening. And they aren't use Tigers Tickets, they are REALLY awesome Tigers Tickets that include box seats and use of a Clubhouse there on site, where, one of the highlights is that they have a full dinner and dessert buffet which of course is free. So I knew today would be hard, but I also paid really good money for them, so while I'm not going only eat lettuce, I'm also not going to overeat. I will go, have a good time, enjoy a small portion of the food I want, and be back on track the minute I leave.

But today started off great, I had a good breakfast of some Kashi Go Lean, Fiber One and cup of Milk. Then I had a Cottage cheese for a snack, a sandwich and some yogurt for lunch, and just had some cucumbers and carrots for a snack. Now I'm gonna be heading to the game in a few, hopefully the Tigers can pull it off, and the White Sox can beat the Twins for us!

Go Tigers!

Hello?

*sticks head out from underneath the rock she's been hiding under*

Anyone out there still? 6 months of quietness does tend to leave people deleting you from their daily reads!

It's been long quiet 6 months, there are highs and lows...the lows being my weight has went back up. I'm still not at square one, but If I don't get my stuff together, I'm gonna be starting at square one, and that's not cool with me. So here I am, I've gained roughly 16lbs, and I'm back to lose it. And the only way I'm going to is with you guys to keep me accountable.

I've been trying to get back on track since March, I'll do great for a day, and then I fall back off, seems like I can't string together a week or two of good solid OP days.

On a high note, a year later, I'm still running, sporadically, but I'm still running. I managed a pretty bad injury to my foot in April (running down the stairs after a ringing blackberry is not a good idea folks!), and I'm still to this day battling lingering pain and stiffness, which leads to a very sporadic running schedule. But I'm working on that, and I've still been running consistently.
So that's a high note.

So my first goal. String together two good solid OP days....Today not so hot. So starting tomorrow.

Wish me luck, I hope I've got some of you guys still around :)

Plus, I had a complete week on plan! My first in a long long time!

Anyways! Off to enjoy my weekend, hope you guys do the same!

" I've seen extreme bravery from the least likely of people. Life is
about the moments when it's all gone wrong. That's when we define
ourselves."
-- Bear Grylls

Sorry about the lack of posting these days! I started my new job and work, and it has its ups and downs, one of them being I'm on my feet and moving all day long. Now this is a downside because I don't get to catch up on everyone's blogs, talk to the boyfriend online as much, and post my own blog posts, but the good part is, instead of a desk job, I'm on my feet, and I have a very good feeling this will be good for weight loss, and even better for maintaining!

That being said, I've had a great OP week. I have been trying to eat a bit more being I'm moving so much, but trying to add a few more veggies here and there, or what not, not junk. The scale so far is showing good things, and hopefully I will be having a good weigh in come Friday morning. I've been doing pretty well not eating past 8, although most nights, it seems to be I'm done before 9, but with my busy schedule, I don't even get sat down to eat until 730 or 8!

I've been doing well with my running and my crunches/pushups too. I've gotten 3 runs in this week, and two rounds of pushups and situps, which is great. I'm SLOWLY building back up the miles I'm running in hopes of not getting sick again. So far, so good.

Other than that, nothing much new on this front, I'm reading your blogs, and trying to comment when I can! I hope everyone is staying healthy and happy!
