I don't know about the memory thing, although I have heard of it. If you are "maintaining" at your present weight, what will you do differently for the "maintenance" part of your plan? I've never gotten there and have no idea what WW suggests. I always figured I'd reach maintenance when I quit losing and would then just continue to do what I've been doing.Kathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05040416772190103045noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4014731059992278187.post-4626192847931464802007-07-24T21:36:00.000-05:002007-07-24T21:36:00.000-05:00i've heard of it and wouldn't be surprised if my b...i've heard of it and wouldn't be surprised if my body said, "okay, 160 it is"... i've been here forever and will keep doing my thing regardless - if i lose, i lose but if not - then so be it - if my body wants me to be at this weight, nothing (besides starving myself) is going to help... :o)JODIhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02805275154320491839noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4014731059992278187.post-65788305383608575952007-07-24T13:29:00.000-05:002007-07-24T13:29:00.000-05:00I've never heard of weight memory before. interes...I've never heard of weight memory before. interesting theory.Fatinahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12070940470440385585noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4014731059992278187.post-12305144646676944922007-07-24T09:09:00.000-05:002007-07-24T09:09:00.000-05:00i was never "thin". as a child i was always overwe...i was never "thin". as a child i was always overweight and at the age of 13 i was already in plus size clothes. I don't think my body "remembered" a certain weight and is going to hold on to it, otherwise i'd be over 200lbs for the rest of my life. I'm thankful I never gave up and worked hard to get down to where I am today but I think i will be forever saddled with that extra fold of skin at the bottom of my abdomen. THAT my body will remember.mariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16967370079264918525noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4014731059992278187.post-22274898427291343182007-07-24T07:59:00.000-05:002007-07-24T07:59:00.000-05:00I've heard of it too & I kinda believe in it (sort...I've heard of it too & I kinda believe in it (sorta like horoscopes lol). You have to decide for yourself if you want to stay where you are. . .otherwise, keep going for that goal. Also, I think unconsiously you feel comfortable at the weight and eat/exercise differently than when you're trying to really lose.Lhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03107201403579264297noreply@blogger.com
